What do we do?
Synapse's Supported Accommodation Service currently operates four co-tenanted houses, just north of Brisbane. Each house is occupied by three people and is staffed 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Tenants have varying support needs which are addressed by an expert team of staff for each residence. The support team assists residents to attend voluntary work, community linking, social outings and assist with personal care. Tenants are encouraged to be as independent as possible within these settings with the support team assisting with skill development.
